Realizing early in his life paying rent was a losing proposition, Ron started a direction toward real estate by buying his first house at 18 years old. The first house had a rentable guest house, which allowed for exposure to the fundamentals of property management and investments. Knowing that real estate was always going to be a part of his life, Ron initially decided to get his real estate license to have more education on the subject.
While working in the aerospace industry in the capacity of a Corporate Quality Control Manager, Ron made the decision to make real estate his vocation January 1986, immediately after the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.
A licensed real estate broker in California, Ron Henderson has had extensive experience in real estate investment since 1974.
Ron is a Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI), a professionally designated Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist (RECS), and was awarded the Certified Investor Agent Specialist designation from Distressed Property Institute.
For several years Ron was the Corporate Property Specialist in charge of corporate relocation and foreclosure services for the nation’s largest real estate company. This was a great position, as it was during an era when financial institutions were not apprehensive about rehabilitating properties to realize a better sales price. Ron managed the rehab of 100+ properties using institution’s financial resources, giving him substantial background in construction techniques, and high credibility with the institutions that his recommendations would realize them the highest return for funds applied.
Ron has won numerous awards for real estate sales and achievements, and is a multi-million dollar producer.
Ron has conducted Short Sales since the 1990’s when the systems were first being established. He has great communication and negotiating capabilities, with the ability to evaluate and troubleshoot the most complex transaction. Ron has subsequently become a Certified HR 3648 Short Sale Specialist.
In addition to Ron’s background in real estate sales & negotiations, he is a NMLS Licensed loan broker arranging the best possible financing for borrower’s purchase or refinancing needs. Ron has also conducted wholesale loan product sales to loan brokers for an investment bank, so he understands the construction and behind the scenes elements of mortgage backed securities that few real estate professionals are exposed to.
Ron established Multi Real Estate Services (MRES) in 1995 as a one stop shop for loans and sales with the proposition that the best systems and technology be utilized, while dedicated to fulfilling clients goals, and exceptional customer service.
Ron was named a Los Angeles Super Agent for 2005 by Los Angeles Magazine & Key Professional Media.
As an expert and seminar speaker in subjects such as the 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange, HUD 203(k) Rehabilitation Home Loans, PACTrusts and Advanced Purchasing and Financing Techniques, Ron can provide a real estate investor with strong tools to help make solid purchasing, sales and financing decisions. Ron acts as a consultant to the Los Angeles Times and Daily News for San Fernando Valley real estate issues.
Ron has his fingers on the pulse of the financial markets and economic trends that effects long term real estate investors and first time buyers alike. His reliable counciling and guidance through complex scenarios has been proven to be invaluable to clients for a quarter century.
With such a diverse, professional background, and as the president-broker of MRES, Ron has the unique ability to offer his clients a total service package for the business of real estate.
When Ron’s not working on his real estate business he spends his extracurricular time coaching his son’s baseball team, working out, playing drums with various musical acts, and continues his education of many subjects of interest to him like financial markets and astrophysics.
