5 ways to show your customers they matter

indexIn the absence of customers, a business is nothing. Yet a lot of opportunities to acknowledge them are neglected by businesses every day.

Showing them that they matter and that you truly do care is crucial to repeat business as well as referrals. What are some ways you could be showing your customers that they are valuable and important?

1. Develop a Customer Loyalty Program

Give loyal customers coupons and discounts to show your gratitude to them. Loyalty programs can include unique perks, gift certificates, discounts like regular buyer’s cards and point cards. Loyalty programs are an extremely memorable way to reveal how much your clients mean to you since it gives an added reward, making your clients feel valued while also providing them rewards to come back again.

2. Highlight Your Customers

Featuring one of your customers every week or month by placing facts about how they use your products and services on your social media platforms, can  make them feel loved and appreciated. This is a fantastic way to connect to those consumers and let them know how much their business means to you.

3. Award Customer Referrals

Rewarding customers who send new clients your way is a great way to obtain new business. Show your customers how much you appreciate them and their support for you. By giving discounts or gifts for recommendations, you keep your customers happy, and you keep them returning and discussing your local business to all of their friends.

Think about satisfying both the customer who did the referring, and the new client. This gives them both incentives to keep spreading the word about your business.

4. Learn more about Your Customer

Customers like to feel special and recognized. By learning more about your customers through social media or communicating with them when you are servicing them, you can develop a solid merchant-consumer relationship that makes the client feel important. By getting to know your clients better, you can find out more about their needs, customize their experience. Ultimately you can serve them better, making it a win-win scenario.

Your client is the base of your business, so understanding them and recognizing who they are, will help drive sales and build a loyal customer base. This is a great way to keep your customers involved with your business, and have them care about you back.

5. Give Back Through Customer support

Interact with your clients by taking an active role in their experience with your product or service. You can do this by teaching your customers the best to use your products with video posts, or by answering their concerns with direct and truthful feedback. The most essential thing about customer service is that you are meeting the needs of your customers, so ask your clients what they desire and then give it to them.

By doing so, you show your clients that you truly care about their wants and desires.
