They say sometimes “what’s old is new again”. Then again sometimes “what’s old is just old”. It’s been a few years, but every so often a website needs a facelift or a repurposing. In this case, it was both.
I started Multi Real Estate Services back in 1995. Back then it was basic HTML programming, and very few realtors or lenders were using the internet. AOL’s browser and system was once one of the only ways for the public to access the web. My first website would come up in the top 3 searches in Lycos for anything pertaining to real estate in Los Angeles. This was way before Google, in fact before it really mattered. Very few consumers were using the internet yet. How things have changed…
Through the years (decades) there have been several incarnations of the MRES website. My last one had some issues with mobile access and missing a few functionalities I’ve been wanting to add, so it was time.
With the help of my friend and web developer Laura Tate – Crackerjack Scribe, the new MRES site is now up and running.
The pre-existing content and many years of blogging have been incorporated in the new site. There are several modifications already made, but I will be making numerous additions over time. I have a long list of educational materials I want to generate. Anybody that knows me knows that I’m not all about “selling”. Of course, my vocation is based on sales, but I’m more into service, counseling, and educating my clients, and fellow associates in my industries. I’m fundamentally a nerd and have accumulated a lot of experience and knowledge through the years. I feel a commitment to passing it on to those that want that information.
